Personal Opinion

It was hard to me to choose one topic but here we are. Today I'll talk you about my personal opinion about abortion. 

I didn't knew, when I was younger, what was my position when talking about abortion, until the topic appeared in a lunch in my father's house. He reads the news everyday, and in that moment the discussion was about legalizing abortion in 3 circumstances. He told me something like "I would let any woman had an abortion once in her life, no matter the reason, but if that happens twice, I would put her on jail", and I was like "OK... wtf".

In that moment I started thinking about abortion. Why should, a man like my dad, decide how many times a woman can abort, and the reason why to do it? It's stupid, and totally unfair for us, people with uterus, to be attached to the beliefs of someone that first, can't give birth, and second, decide about a body that is not theirs. I don't tell a guy what to do with his sperm, I don't need to. 

If a man, like my dad, was able to recognize me and my brother when we were 2 years old, and many other guys let their kids alone when they're little, not even giving their last name, or giving some money to raise the child, why can't a woman/uterus owner decide if she/they wants to have a baby or not? Again, it is TOTALLY unfair for us.

If I want a baby, I will have it. If I don't want to become a mother, I won't. It's that hard to understand? We want to have the power of decision in this, it is our body. 

Abortion should be legal, no matter the circumstances. Many women die trying to abort in an ilegal way, but if they had enough money, they would be able to pay for the same procedure in a private hospital and say "oops, it was my appendix".
